A veteran Apostle of the Church of Pentecost, Canada, Apostle James Mckeown Quainoo has admonished Christians to earnestly seek to be in the presence of God in the new year.

Speaking on the theme “The Presence of God” at the PIWC Ottawa Service on New Year’s Eve, Apostle Quanioo reiterated that the presence of God is going to be indispensable in the coming year.

“Anywhere the presence of God is, there is glory, and you must desire the presence of God as the deer pants for the water brooks,” he stressed.

Touching on the benefits the presence of God brings believers, Apostle mentioned that the presence of the Lord does not only bring one unmerited victory and unmerited favor, but also drives away any shade of fear from the believer and makes him prosperous.

He concluded by charging Christians to go back to the word of God and study it, live in righteousness and cultivate the habit of being in God’s presence daily.
